It's almost not even worth my time looking for ammo anymore. I might have to just stick with looking for powder. All the ammo I find around here is so over priced. A shop here is selling cci 100 round boxes for $35

Yup its crazy. Hard to find powder and bullets too. Lots of AR's on the shelves, but no reloading supplies or ammo.

The gun sales have seemed to slowed because of ammo shortages

Could be. Some things like message m magazines safe readily available, which you know they stepped up production, but I would think the manufacturers for bullets and powder could do the same, but doesn't seem to be the case

Stuff is starting to come back. You can find 1k of 55fmj for under $300 now. .22 is showing back up more and more at better prices.

223 is still .30+ a rd, what was it before the scare, I don't remember it being that high...

It was around .22-.23. But I have seen it at .27 recently. We will never get back to pre scare prices because it was so long ago. Hell inflation has taken affect now. It used to be .10 in the 90's.

We can't live in the past.

well AR's are back down to pre scare prices $499 for a built gun and 6.8 is cheaper than pre scare prices. I have an AR in 556, no ammo and not wanting to spend .30 so will wait some more, no use for it anyway.

Its available, you just have to know how to find it. I've turned it into a substitute for hunting. Now my game is .22lr ammo.
