Bump helmet

After Team Wendy became Team hillary ... I swore off those ... I still have my TH .. but no more .. so switched to Ops Core bumps ... I actually like the TH ... tensioning system better ... and the TH has more velcro. But I added more velcro to the ops core and just suffer with the less flexible tensioning system. One plus of the Ops core is the whole rail system for the ops core is compatible with most other helmets whereas the TH is prioritary.

IIRC the Ops Core was around $230, so it is not too expensive either.

If you only have 1 x PVS-14 ... then the Crye Precision Night Cap is another option. Very light and handy if you are only running one pvs-14 ... if you want to load your helmet up ... then the CP won't work. The CP itself is pretty cheap ... under $100 ... but the shroud is separate and you need that. I forget the price of the shroud .. it might be more than the CP.

I don't know if this plays into suggestings, but I also have to have something that I'll be able to wear a ski mask type face cover since it gets cold in the winter.

Ok, well, I wear balaklavas with helmets. I have about 8 balaklava's ... some are "thick" and some are "thin" ...

One of my helmets is a size larger (1 inch) than fits tight. That one is for when I wear the "thick" balaklava's .. then other helmets fit tight but work with the "thin" balaklavas. Last winter, for instance, we got down to -20F a few days ... with 2 weeks of totally under 20F. So during that period, the thick balaklava's were in use with the oversized helmet.

So, depends on your environment. So might need two sizes of helmet if you would wear the thick ones. If just the thin, you'll be fine with one helmet.

And you do need to measure your head when you order the helmet !

I had the airsoft helmet still $100 not near as comfortable as the real Team wendy. And mine split after 6 months use letting my nice white phosphorus pvs14 fall to the ground. Buy once cry one go with the team wendy.

I also had a fake ops-core carbon airsoft helmet to lone for friends and keep in my truck. One night while out hiking around shroud piece broke and my pvs-14 fell breaking the lower battery housing. Lesson learned never again.

You guys are high dollar! I have a $10 skateboard helmet with a quick made bent aluminum strap that I attached with screws onto the front of the helmet.

I did that for my first helmet. The airsoft helmet was an upgrade. The real bump helmet made the airsoft seem like a torture devise.
